Nocera Umbra, City of Waters
Given its extraordinary importance for human life on earth and for its sustainable development, we could not fail to organise an event celebrating the element that has made the fortune of Nocera Umbra over the centuries: Water!
Since ancient times, in fact, Nocera Umbra has been famous for its natural water springs with therapeutic effects. The beneficial, spontaneous waters are bottled for sale, but it is also possible to taste them in the fountains in the historic centre.
Thanks to the initiative of the cultural association ‘L’Arengo’, the municipality of Nocera Umbra has recently allocated the use of the rooms of Palazzo Camilli, a prestigious building in the historic centre, to host the CEDAT, Centro di Documentazione dell’Acqua e della Terra, with the ambition that this will become a reference study centre on the subject of water.
On the morning of Saturday 8 July, we will organise a guided tour of CEDAT, followed by a refreshing workshop on the ‘Cuisine of Well-Being’ by the association EatUmbria Viaggi Perigolosi.
