On Saturday 18 July, the Peace Village invites participants to discover Cascia through Sibillia AI, an innovative artificial intelligence application designed to make cultural heritage more interactive, accessible and engaging.

The visit will take place in English and will offer participants the opportunity to explore some of the most meaningful places in Cascia through a new form of digital cultural mediation, where art, history and storytelling meet conversational artificial intelligence.

The experience will begin directly at the Church of San Francesco of Cascia with a short introduction of about 10 minutes. During this first moment, the facilitators will present Sibillia AI, explain its main features and provide a practical demonstration of how to use the app. Participants will receive the basic instructions needed to interact with the digital guide and enjoy the visit independently, while being supported throughout the experience.

After the introduction, the group will visit the Church of San Francesco using Sibillia AI as an intelligent guide. The app will accompany participants in discovering the artworks, stories and historical elements of the church, offering an engaging and accessible way to interact with the cultural heritage of the place.

The route will then continue towards the Basilica of Santa Rita, one of the most symbolic and spiritual landmarks of Cascia. Along the way and during the visit, participants will continue to use the application to explore the connection between the city, its history, its sacred spaces and the figure of Saint Rita.

The experience will be facilitated by Sara Ferretti and Leonardo Angelini, who will accompany the group throughout the itinerary and support participants in the use of the app.

The planned route will start from the Church of San Francesco, continue towards the Basilica of Santa Rita, and then return to the Church of San Francesco. The total duration of the visit will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Participants are required to bring their own smartphone with an active data connection. The use of earphones or headphones is strongly recommended in order to better enjoy the audio contents and the conversational experience offered by Sibillia AI.
