Bio-diversity exhibition and market

A Journey Through Flavors, Knowledge, and Sustainability

Discover the extraordinary richness of Italy’s agri-food biodiversity at the market-exhibition organized in collaboration with the AVO Consortium — an organization committed to promoting high-quality fruit and vegetable production — and the 3A Agri-Food Technology Park of Umbria, a center of excellence for innovation and traceability in the agri-food sector.

The event offers a full program of activities: tastings, meetings with local producers, educational workshops, conferences, and special moments dedicated to learning about traditional agricultural varieties — often forgotten, yet essential to our identity and the future of the planet.

It’s an opportunity for everyone — families, enthusiasts, and industry professionals — to rediscover biodiversity as a cultural, environmental, and economic value, in a setting of exchange, dialogue, and growth.

Join us to celebrate biodiversity and the future of sustainable agriculture together!

Consorzio AVO | Authenticity, Values, Origin A growing network of farms committed to cultivating agro-biodiversity — the variety of plant and animal species used for production.

ORTOINGIRO. We cultivate 6 hectares of land through crop rotation including pasture, forage, seasonal vegetables, fresh and dried legumes, and ancient grains. We don’t use fossil fuels in the farming process — we’ve chosen animal traction instead.

Francesca de Mai. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia in 2005, she participates in both solo and group exhibitions, dividing her time between visual arts and music through the duo Radiolari and the cultural association “c.a.l.m.a.”

Ira l’Erborista. A farm specializing in medicinal and aromatic herbs. Nestled in the pristine and fertile Umbrian Apennines, just under one hectare hosts my beloved wild and cultivated herbs — from trees to so-called “weeds.”

Spezialità offers a wide selection of spices, salts, special and flavored teas, and wellness infusions — to take home or enjoy directly at our stand. Come discover the scents of the world!

The “Orti Felici” municipal greenhouse, an extraordinary project which gives people with disabilities the opportunity to actively participate in agricultural activities, promoting labour and social inclusion.

Fratelli Perugini Brewery is attached to its territory, and is able to give its beer an extra gear, starting from raw materials cultivated on its own premises and processed in the territory surrounding it

Accademia Erbe Campagnole Spontanee is a non-profit association set up to ensure the conservation, collection and correct use of wild herbs for both food and all other traditional and current uses.

The Slow Food Community of the Original Olive Trees of the Upper Tiber Valley is a local group affiliated with the international Slow Food movement, committed to the protection, valorisation and promotion of native olive trees in the Upper Tiber Valley.
