The Music of spheres!
What happens when Literature meets Science and Digital? It turns into Art and Music!
This is the magic of La Musica de las esferas, an interdisciplinary project promoted by Prof. Antonio Jesús Alcaide Soler from Granada that has taken STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) to its highest level of expression.

The workshop will be held in the prestigious ‘Francesco Luigi Piervissani’ Diocesan Library and will enable participants to learn the basics of translating rhymes and stanzas, first into geometric figures and then into sounds.
In fact, whatever is quantifiable can be represented in a graph and the rhyme, the schemes we learned at school to characterize the rhyme of stanzas, is not an exception.
Based on a double input Cartesian axis, the rhyme of each verse is represented in the y-axis and the type of rhyme (A, B, C…) is drawn in the x-axis. We trace segments that connect the rhyme of one verse with the rhyme of the following one and join the rhyming verses with circumferences. Thus, every poem with rhyme (from any language) can be represented in space obtaining a geometrical figure that faithfully reflects the rhyme of the poem.
