Concert “Songs for Peace”

On Thursday 16 July, the #SHU2026 Peace Village comes to life in Cascia with an evening dedicated to music, poetry and dialogue between peoples. On stage at Piazzale San Francesco, the rock band Oskuri Figuri will take the audience on a journey through some of the most famous songs dedicated to peace: songs that have spanned generations, cultures and borders, becoming a collective voice against war, indifference and all forms of violence.

The music will alternate with the words of young people from all over the world, who will recite passages and poems to share their dreams, testimonies and visions of peace. A tapestry of languages, emotions and cultures to remind us that peace is not a distant idea, but a path to be built together, every day.
